Wilson College of Textiles' Summer Innovation Program Showcases Student Creativity
The Wilson College Board of Textiles recently concluded its second annual Flex Factory Summer Innovation program. Students showcased their innovative projects, with KC Soong's make-your-own frog pincushion craft kit voted as the audience favorite.
Throughout the program, participants developed practical prototypes and business models with the support of entrepreneurial mentors and cutting-edge technology. Hoorieeh Abbasi Mahmoodabadi designed a new generation compression arm sleeve, suitable for both medical recovery and athletic performance. Meanwhile, Olivia Jurney created stylish pleated tops with adjustable tie closures and sublimation printed graphics.
