Undertakings or endeavors initiated for a specific purpose or set of objectives, often requiring planning, resources, and execution.
In the heart of Várzea Grande and Rondonópolis, several charitable organizations are working together to improve the lives of children and families living in poverty.
The Ecumenical Social Center, based in Várzea Grande, is a key partner in these projects. It collaborates with Kinderproject Acamis, Kinderproject Cenprhe, and the Koblenz-Brazil Association (KoBra), all of which are dedicated to supporting children and families in need.
KoBra, headquartered in Rondonópolis, manages funds for 200 children and youth in three poor neighbourhoods. In addition to this, they provide food for leprosy-affected families in these areas. KoBra's work extends beyond financial support, as they also operate shoemaking workshops in Rondonópolis and Primavera do Leste, offering care for patients with foot problems.
Kinderproject Acamis, another partner in these initiatives, cares for 230 children and adolescents from poor neighbourhoods in Várzea Grande. Meanwhile, Kinderproject Cenprhe in Várzea Grande provides care for 250 children.
The projects run by these organizations are all located in impoverished neighbourhoods, aiming to provide direct support where it is needed most. In addition to these, there are other organizations working in Várzea Grande, such as Projeto Vida Nova and Associação Criança Feliz, that are also dedicated to improving the lives of children from poor backgrounds.
Together, the projects run by Kinderproject Acamis, Kinderproject Cenprhe, and KoBra collectively care for a total of 680 children and adolescents from poor neighbourhoods in Várzea Grande and Rondonópolis. These collaborative efforts are making a significant difference in the lives of many children and families in need.
