UAE Launches Emirates Villages Run Series to Showcase Heritage and Foster Unity
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has launched the Emirates Villages Run Series, a seven-race event held across different emirates from October to December. This initiative aims to highlight the country's diverse landscapes and cultural heritage, while also fostering unity and community bonds.
The series, held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, reflects the UAE's leadership focus on volunteerism and shared responsibility. It is part of the Year of Community 2025 and is organized in partnership with ADNOC and other entities by Desert Adventures, a UAE-based company specializing in outdoor and adventure sports events.
The series, launched by the Emiratis Council for Balanced Development, offers a total prize pool of AED500,000. It is open to all segments of society, promoting inclusivity and a safe environment. Each event will be accompanied by traditional Emirati performances, showcasing national identity and boosting tourism.
The Emirates Villages Run Series, with its diverse routes and cultural experiences, is set to strengthen community bonds and highlight the UAE's unique heritage.
