Breaking News: Charlottenburg Robbery Leaves One Man Injured
A robbery took place in Charlottenburg last night, leaving a 51-year-old man injured and a valuable Rolex Daytona watch stolen. The incident occurred around 1 a.m. at Steinplatz.
The police have released CCTV footage of the robbery to the public in hopes of identifying the perpetrator. The footage shows a man in his mid-30s, approximately 1.85 meters tall, with a slim build, wearing a dark hoodie, jeans, and black sneakers. The perpetrator snatched the expensive watch from the victim's wrist before fleeing in an unknown direction.
The Rolex Daytona stolen in the robbery is a limited edition model, estimated to be worth €150,000. The robbery lasted approximately 30 seconds, and the victim suffered a broken finger during the incident. Emergency services took the victim to a hospital for outpatient treatment.
A specialized unit from Police Directorate 2 (West) is handling the further investigation into the case. As of yet, the police have not announced any arrests in connection with the robbery.
