The event titled "Sport Family" will take place in Krasnodar
The much-anticipated Urban Festival is set to return to the "Olymp" Sports Palace in Krasnodar on August 23rd. This exciting event will offer a diverse range of activities for all ages and interests.
Starting at 15:00, the day will be filled with thrilling competitions such as a "Strongest Man" station for kettlebell sport, a tug of war competition, and a chance for women to showcase their strength in the strength relays. For those seeking a more relaxed atmosphere, a food court will be operational throughout the festival, offering a variety of delicious food options.
In addition to the sports events, the Urban Festival will also feature a "City of Masters" fair, providing an opportunity for local artisans to showcase their work. Families, school teams, sports club teams, and city organisations are all invited to participate and enjoy the festivities.
The Krasnodar region has been actively investing in sports facilities, having created over 340 sports facilities in the past decade. As part of this commitment, funds will be used to build new courts, modular halls, and specialized courts, as well as repair existing facilities. By 2025, 6.9 billion rubles will be allocated from the regional budget for the construction and capital repair of sports facilities.
While specific details about additional activities or an MMA tournament on August 23rd cannot be confirmed at this time, past summer events in similar areas, such as Munich’s Olympiapark, have included live music, sporting events, children’s activities, and a special lakeside bar area offering DJs and workshops.
For the most up-to-date information and a detailed programme, we recommend visiting the official event website or contacting the local organizing body. We look forward to seeing you at the Urban Festival!
