Alexianer Care Talents Event Strengthens Nursing Community in Germany
The annual Alexianer Care Talents event, which took place on the 5th of August 2025 at the Jovel event hall in Münster, brought together over 400 nursing trainees and professionals for a day of learning, networking, and community building.
Organised by the Alexianer Group, the event featured impulse lectures, workshops, and opportunities for networking, making it a significant platform for education and professional development within the nursing profession.
Topics covered during the event included healthy nutrition in shift work, self-care with yoga, and promoting movement in daily nursing. The programme included 14 practical workshops and two lectures, one of which was given by Br. Bernhard Maria Flügel on the history of the Alexianer brothers.
Participants were also treated to a musical highlight with DJ Nobody, an autistic artist, at the evening party. One participant described the Care Talents as a strong sign of appreciation, future, and lived nursing culture.
The Care Talents event is important for nursing professionals because it offers a dedicated space to enhance skills, discuss innovations in nursing, and connect within Germany’s nursing community. It strengthens the profession’s future workforce by providing opportunities for knowledge exchange, updates on nursing practices, and engagement with peers and experts in the field.
The Alexianer Care Talents event, now in its fifth year, is a testament to the Alexianer Group's commitment to supporting nursing education and fostering talent in healthcare. Participants left the event feeling tired but motivated with fresh impulses and many new contacts.
In addition to the Care Talents event, the Alexianer Group also organised a separate event called "Pedelec New challenges in the city" on a different date (1st August 2025) with a Pedelec simulator on Stubengasse. However, information about any new record fair or Mrs. Greenbird from Cologne playing in Jovel was not provided in the current paragraph.
