Road Biking: Ensuring Security and Safety

The popular cycling tour 'Experience Safety' is set to return to Nordhorn on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 2 PM. This exclusive event, aimed at women, is scheduled to take place at the Nordhorn police station and is focused on promoting traffic safety and crime prevention.

The tour, which previously received positive feedback during its July run, will be offered in cooperation with the city's equal opportunities officer Anja Milewski, police inspector Joerg Reurik, and chief inspector Uwe van der Heiden from the prevention team of Nordhorn police station.

Participants are asked to register by September 12, either by email or phone. The starting point of the tour will be at the Nordhorn police station, Wietmarscher Straße 4.

During the tour, fears of crime and behavioral recommendations will be addressed. Expert explanations on safe cycling, various theft protection options, urban safety, and knife-edge traffic situations will be given on-site. Additionally, equal opportunities officer Anja Milewski will provide tips and information specifically for women, such as self-assertion or counseling options in Nordhorn.

The 'Experience Safety' cycling tour is dedicated to promoting traffic safety and crime prevention. It is free to participate, and women from Germany and around the world are welcome to join.

It's important to note that registrations are currently open, and further dates for the 'Experience Safety' (not exclusively for women) can be found on the website. Participants are asked to bring their own drinks and wear a bicycle helmet.

The tour will visit places with an increased fear of crime or uncertainty in traffic, making it an informative and engaging experience for all who attend. With its focus on safety and prevention, the 'Experience Safety' cycling tour continues to experience high demand. Don't miss this opportunity to learn, connect, and enhance your cycling and safety knowledge in a supportive and empowering environment.
