Results unveiled in initial phase of Revalida; locations disclosed
Hello there!
Breaking News for Aspiring Foreign-Educated Medical Professionals:
The results for the first stage of the inaugural Revalida examination, held in March 2025, are now available! If you registered for this test, you can check your scores, including those for both the objective and discursive tests, on the Revalida System[1]. Additionally, you'll find opinions on appeals made for the discursive questions within the system as well. To get started, simply enter your login and password from the Gov.br portal on the Revalida Participant's Page[2].
The National Institute of Educational Studies and Research Anísio Teixeira (Inep) oversaw the administration of the Revalida tests and recorded a remarkable 17,000 registrations[3].
Move onto the Second Stage
In May, Inep announced the requirements for the second phase of the first edition of Revalida, scheduled for July 19 and 20[4]. Participation in this clinical skills assessment phase is contingent on approval in the initial stage, involving both objective and discursive examinations. The registration period for the second stage is from June 9 to 13.
Paving the Path to Practicing in Brazil
Revalida serves to assess Brazilian and foreign medical graduates who aspire to practice the profession within Brazil[5]. The goal of this two-part examination—theoretical and clinical skills—is to uphold the quality of medical care dispensed across the country.
The reference points for Revalida include primary care, outpatient, hospital, emergency, emergency care, and community care[6]. Approval in the second stage of Revalida 2025/1 necessitates the submission of required documentation to the partner university for diploma validation[7].
