Proposal requested for a directive on safeguarding workers from risks stemming from ionizing radiation exposure, as per Commission's mandate.
Starting on Monday, August 18, 2025, several bus lines in Wiesbaden will undergo detours due to the closure of Gustav-Stresemann-Ring. The affected lines include 3, 6, 16, 22, 27, 28, 33, 37, 45, and 49, among others.
For lines heading towards Berliner Straße, the detour route includes using the normal route up to "Main Station A." From there, buses will continue via Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, turn into Wittelsbacherstraße, take a bypass through Wettinerstraße, and rejoin Gustav-Stresemann-Ring towards Berliner Straße. Line 22, however, heading to the Berufsschulzentrum (vocational school center), will go via the bypass and Wettinerstraße directly to its end stop.
In the direction towards the city center, most lines except line 22 run their normal routes. Line 22 buses use an alternative route via Mainzer Straße, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, and Bahnhofstraße to reach Hauptbahnhof halts.
Line 27, when going to the Leisure Pool, takes a detour route via Salzbachstraße, Gartenfeldstraße, Mainzer Straße, Weidenbornstraße, and Hasengartenstraße, and then returns to the regular route. Line 27 (Direction: Oberjosbach / HSK / August-Bebel-Straße) starts at the "Brunhildenstraße" stop and continues via Siegfriedring and Hasengartenstraße to the replacement stop in Weidenbornstraße, then Weidenbornstraße and Mainzer Straße to the "Welfenstraße" stop, and returns to the regular route.
Lines 3, 6, 33, and 49 will take a detour route to Biebrich, Mainz, Kostheim, and Bierstadt. Lines 3 and 33 take trips via Brunhildenstraße. The detour for these lines starts from "Main Station A" and goes via Salzbachstraße and Gartenfeldstraße, then to Mainzer Straße, and continues on the regular route.
It is worth noting that this new detour is an update reflecting improvements and changes at Wiesbaden related to the Gustav-Stresemann-Ring closure. For exact stop-by-stop changes and live updates, checking ESWE Verkehr’s official site or their interactive network map is recommended as it provides the latest traffic and detour info.
Unfortunately, there will be no further service to the regular endpoint "Vocational School Center" for lines 22 and 27. Both lines will end at the "Brunhildenstraße" stop.
We advise passengers to plan their journeys accordingly and allow extra travel time due to the detours. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, please visit the ESWE Verkehr website or use their interactive network map.
During the Gustav-Stresemann-Ring closure starting on August 18, 2025, workplace-wellness initiatives such as fitness-and-exercise routines can be incorporated into daily commutes, as bus lines like 22 and 27 will be taking detours that offer additional routes through Mainzer Straße and Wittelsbacherstraße, promoting health-and-wellness amongst passengers. It's essential to stay updated on the detours and exact stop changes, which can be found on ESWE Verkehr's official site or interactive network map to ensure a smooth journey during this period.
