Proposal requested for a directive on implementing a data collection system for electronic communications network usage by the Commission.

In a significant victory for workers' rights, the Colussi plant in Tortona has won the battle for the internalization of 40 employees. The company responsible for paying the Christmas bonuses to these adl from September 16, 2025, to January 1, 2026, is Barilla.

The agreement, which has ended a series of negotiations, includes a Christmas bonus of 500 net euros in 2025 and 1000 net euros in 2026. The internalization will be handled by the company Torello Trasporti Srl, the direct supplier of Colussi.

ADL COBAS Alessandria, a union committed to ensuring the respect of rights and contractual norms in the logistics sector, has highlighted that these activities are too often circumvented by companies to the detriment of employees. The union has stated that these practices are used as a mechanism for precariousness and exploitation.

The case of Tortona has been used by ADL COBAS Alessandria to emphasize the importance of monitoring and denouncing such practices. The union has been working towards fighting for dignified working conditions throughout the logistics sector.

It is worth noting that the National Collective Labor Agreement for logistics prohibits the outsourcing of operational management activities, as stated by ADL COBAS Alessandria. This internalization in Tortona is considered a significant result against the usual 'Chinese boxes' in logistics, described as illegitimate subcontracting practices.

In this context, the 40 employees will be under the same contractual conditions as before, ensuring fair treatment and adherence to labour laws. The union has reiterated its commitment to continuing its efforts in this regard.
