Shawna Thibodeau, a mental health nurse and spiritual mentor, shares practical techniques for managing challenging emotions in her eight-week online program, the Radiant Mind Academy. Her approach combines release journaling, deep breathing exercises, and positive affirmations.

Thibodeau suggests a simple yet powerful breathing exercise to welcome loving energy. On each inhale, state the word 'love' and imagine breathing in that loving energy. She also teaches a 'SOS' practice for challenging emotions, involving identifying three things opposite to the emotions felt, thanking the universe for them, and visualizing breathing them in.

Release journaling is another key practice. Thibodeau recommends writing about difficult emotions such as anger, sadness, overwhelm, stress, and fear for at least 10 minutes. This process helps communicate struggles and desires, potentially leading to spiritual growth and positive changes. After journaling, acknowledge that these emotions are allowed to be felt.

Thibodeau's memoir, 'The Light That Shines Through,' offers insights into her personal journey from darkness to healing and transformation. Her techniques, taught in the Radiant Mind Academy, provide practical tools for managing mental health and promoting personal growth.
