Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Launch Comprehensive Welfare Programme in Madhya Pradesh
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to unveil a series of flagship welfare schemes in Bhaisola village, Dhar district, Madhya Pradesh on September 17. The programme aims to focus on the health, nutrition, and empowerment of women, adolescents, and children, particularly in tribal regions.
The Prime Minister will launch India's largest-ever health outreach for women and children, called "Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar and Poshan Abhiyan". This drive will focus on health, nutrition, education, skill development, sanitation, water conservation, and environment protection with long-term development plans under Tribal Village Vision 2030.
The fortnight-long health outreach drive, commencing on Wednesday, will mobilize over one lakh health camps in government health facilities across the country. The campaign will focus on screening and treatment of anaemia, tuberculosis, non-communicable diseases, and sickle cell diseases.
In addition to the health outreach, Mr. Modi will also launch the "Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan" organization. This initiative aims to highlight tribal pride and promote service-oriented activities in tribal regions. The programme will also promote maternal and adolescent health, immunization, menstrual hygiene, and mental wellness.
As part of the "Adi Karmayogi Abhiyan", Mr. Modi will also launch a campaign of service-oriented activities in tribal regions. Over 10,000 women in Madhya Pradesh will develop 'Maa Ki Bagiya' under the "Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam" initiative, with women's groups being provided with all necessary resources to ensure plant protection. The PM will gift a sapling to a beneficiary of a women's self-help group under this initiative.
The Prime Minister is also scheduled to transfer funds under the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana directly into the accounts of 10-lakh women in the country. At Dhar, Mr. Modi will distribute the one-croreth sickle cell screening and counselling card in Madhya Pradesh.
Moreover, Mr. Modi will lay the foundation stone for the country's first PM Mitra Park, a mega textile facility proposed to be developed on 2,150 acres in Bhaisola village. The PM Mitra Park has already attracted an investment of `23,000 crores from 119 companies.
The Prime Minister will address the gathering on the occasion. State Chief Minister Mohan Yadav announced these developments, emphasizing the comprehensive nature of the welfare programmes and their potential to transform the lives of millions.
