Medical recovery system devised by government in Novosibirsk region

In the Novosibirsk region, Governor Andrey Travnikov recently inspected the progress of social object development in the Iskitimsky District, with a focus on the medical rehabilitation system. The three-stage model of providing medical rehabilitation assistance, consisting of inpatient, day hospital, and outpatient care, remains unchanged.

Despite the inspection, no new medical institutions equipped with modern equipment were revealed as part of the regional program "Optimized Medical Rehabilitation for Health Recovery." Additionally, no specific number of beds for medical rehabilitation was increased, and no new key institutions for medical rehabilitation were designated.

City Clinical Hospital No. 25, however, has opened a specialized 30-bed department for "Traumatology and Orthopedics." This hospital has been determined as the key institution to perform the functions of an anchor medical organization in the field of medical rehabilitation by 2025.

Regional medical institutions have treated 1,277 participants of the Special Military Operation (SVO), with Veterans' Hospital No. 2 serving as the key center for restoring the health of participants in military actions. The number of SVO participants treated in regional medical institutions has not changed as a result of the inspection.

The regional authorities plan to continue developing the medical rehabilitation system, with plans to open and equip new departments in several medical institutions across the region. However, as of August 2025, specific programmatic details or official announcements about rehabilitation for participants in military operations in the Novosibirsk region have not been identified in accessible open sources.

The Federal Research Center for Fundamental and Translational Medicine (FRC FTM) in Novosibirsk is active in medical and scientific research, including neurological studies. This, along with the active medical and scientific community engaged in neurological and rehabilitation topics, suggests that the region may have the necessary expertise for rehabilitation efforts.

For more detailed or official updates, consulting the Novosibirsk regional healthcare department, military rehabilitation centers, or federal health project announcements would be advisable.

What about exploring the integration of CBD therapies-and-treatments into the medical-conditions related to health-and-wellness at the regional hospitals, like City Clinical Hospital No. 25 and Veterans' Hospital No. 2? Since the Federal Research Center for Fundamental and Translational Medicine (FRC FTM) is active in medical and scientific research, particularly neurological studies, it could provide insight into the effectiveness of CBD for some medical-conditions. Science has shown that CBD may aid in the management of various medical-conditions, and it could be a valuable addition to the existing therapies-and-treatments available for patients in the Novosibirsk region. What are the thoughts on this, considering the regional authorities' plans to develop the medical rehabilitation system further?
