Labor protection testing across Russia scheduled for VNOT-2025
The 10th Russian Week of Occupational Safety and Health (RWOSH) is set to take place from September 15 to 18, 2025, at the Sirius University, with the main focus on promoting workplace safety programs, proactive hazard identification, emergency preparedness, and improving overall occupational safety culture.
This event, organised by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation, with the Fund "Roscongress" acting as the operator, is a part of the public enlightenment campaign "Health. Responsibility. Labor". The Occupational Safety and Health 2025 testing event, scheduled for September 16, 2025, is expected to test and highlight innovative occupational safety strategies and training, assess readiness, and promote sustainable practices for safer workplaces.
The testing event will take place online, allowing participation from anywhere in the country. Participants include employees, managers, specialists, and students from various economic sectors. They will answer 20 questions within 30 minutes, covering labor legislation norms, safe behavior rules at workplaces, and measures to prevent accidents.
The results of the testing will be available in participants' personal accounts after the event. Registration for the Occupational Safety and Health 2025 testing event is open until September 1, 2025, online. The testing begins at 10:30 Moscow time.
In addition to the testing event, the Forum "VNTO" in 2025 will have the main strategic theme of "People-Saving - A Guarantee of Sustainable Development". On-site participation is possible at six regional platforms: Kaliningrad Oblast, Donetsk People's Republic, Moscow, Krasnoyarsk Krai, Kamchatka Krai, and the central RWOSH-2025 platform at Sirius.
The business program of the VNTO can be viewed at this link. The event traditionally gathers experts, business representatives, and federal and regional government officials to develop innovative approaches to labor safety issues. Over the past decade, RWOSH has established itself as a leading international platform for exchanging experience and developing new solutions in the fields of occupational safety, social security, and sustainable development.
The key objectives of the events likely include raising awareness about the value of occupational safety and health programs, encouraging proactive approaches to hazard identification and mitigation, emphasizing emergency preparedness and response, and engaging workers and management in safety culture. These themes reflect the broader trends across safety events in 2025 such as OSHA’s Safe + Sound Week and the American Society of Safety Professionals' Safety 2025 conference, which emphasise education, training, sharing best practices, and the professional development of safety practitioners.
By participating in these events, individuals and organisations can contribute to creating a safer and healthier work environment, fostering a culture of safety, and ensuring sustainable development.
In the context of the 10th Russian Week of Occupational Safety and Health (RWOSH), there will be a focus on incorporating innovative strategies from science in workplace-wellness and health-and-wellness programs to promote a safer and healthier work environment. During the Occupational Safety and Health 2025 testing event, participants will be tested on topics such as labor legislation norms and safe behavior rules at workplaces, demonstrating the importance of science in fostering a culture of safety.
