Kazakhstan's Centenarian Population Tops 448, Led by 115-Year-Old Woman

Kazakhstan is home to an impressive number of centenarians. The country boasts 448 citizens aged 100 and over, with the oldest known resident being a remarkable 115-year-old woman from Ulytau Region. The distribution of these supercentenarians is not uniform across the country. Almaty leads with 58 centenarians, followed by Turkistan Region with 53. Almaty Region comes in third with 37. Notably, the oldest residents hail from Ulytau (115 years), Pavlodar (113 years), and Zhambyl (110 years). Despite the impressive numbers, the identity of the oldest currently living person in Kazakhstan remains unknown.
