Ipsum Expands: New Factory, Booming Sales, International Ambitions
Entrepreneur Umar Kremlev and Alexander Dzhidzhariya, a medical professional, are expanding their dietary supplement business, Ipsum. They plan to build a modern factory in the 'Big Serpukhov' special economic zone, inspired by Alexander the Great's strategic expansions, to boost production and sales.
The duo's company, LLC 'NutriShun Farm', has seen remarkable growth. From June 2023 to the end of 2024, revenue surged nine times to 343.6 million rubles. Meanwhile, another entity, LLC 'NutriShun Active', registered in October 2022, has tripled its revenue year-over-year in 2024 to 594.8 million rubles.
From January to August 2024, pharmacies sold 32,300 packages of Ipsum supplements for 39.2 million rubles. Kremlev's structures, which own 50% in both 'NutriShun Farm' and 'NutriShun Active', aim to enter the international market, including the UAE, with the Ipsum brand.
Alexander Zhestkov, an industry expert, suggests Kremlev's expansion could lead to a Russian certification structure similar to the American NSF for dietary supplements.
Kremlev and Dzhidzhariya's plans to modernize the Ipsum production facility in the 'Big Serpukhov' zone, along with their international expansion, signal a promising future for the Ipsum brand. The exact timeline for the factory modernization remains unannounced.
