The Helios Specialist Clinic Vogelsang-Gommern has launched an outpatient pain clinic, led by specialist Dr. Astrid Schwarz. The clinic, operated by CC care aktiv GmbH since October 1st, focuses on preventing chronic pain and strengthening outpatient treatment.
Patients can register for the clinic with a referral from their family doctor or specialist. Dr. Schwarz, a specialist in anaesthesiology with additional qualifications in pain therapy, acupuncture, and palliative medicine, heads the clinic. The clinic offers an extensive initial conversation, examination, and creation of a therapy plan tailored to each patient's needs. Chronic pain therapy is multimodal, supporting patients to become physically and mentally active again. The clinic provides patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) via infusion pumps as part of its services.
Appointments can be made with Dr. Schwarz at the pain clinic in Gommern. Patients should bring their current referral form and health insurance card to their appointment. The clinic offers telephone consultation times for appointment scheduling: Monday from 9:00 - 11:00 and Wednesday from 12:00 - 14:00.
