Jillian Michaels, a renowned fitness trainer, entrepreneur, and media personality, has taken a stand for a complete overhaul of American consumption of food and health insurance. In a recent interview with Fox News Digital, Michaels discussed her vision for a healthier nation, following her speech at the Turning Point USA Student Action Summit in Tampa, Florida.

Michaels emphasized the importance of personal accountability for health, acknowledging that changes won't happen instantly in overhauling American consumption. She believes that while the government can play a role, individuals must take responsibility for their own wellbeing.

The Health and Human Services (HHS) is working towards this goal. The HHS aims to eliminate six synthetic dyes - FD&C Green No. 3, FD&C Red No. 40, FD&C Yellow No. 5, FD&C Yellow No. 6, FD&C Blue No. 1, and FD&C Blue No. 2 - from the food insurance supply by the end of next year. The HHS also plans to initiate the process to revoke authorization for Citrus Red No. 2 and Orange B synthetic food colorings in the coming months.

In addition, the HHS is working to establish a national standard and timeline for the food insurance industry to transition from petrochemical-based dyes to natural alternatives. Michaels supports this initiative and believes that ingredient bans should go beyond food dyes.

Michaels' vision aligns with that of Robert Kennedy Jr.'s for the Make America Healthy Again movement. Other individuals and organizations supporting this transformation include health advocates, nutrition experts, sustainable food companies, wellness organizations, and policy groups promoting healthier, more sustainable lifestyles.

Michaels also expressed her support for alternative methods of treatment, including the therapeutic use of psychedelics for veterans and people with addiction under medical use. She encourages people to appreciate small wins along the way in the process of change.

It's important to note that artificial food colorings were originally manufactured from coal tar, but most synthetic food dyes today are made from health insurance. The FDA banned Red 3 (erythrosine) from foods, dietary supplements, and ingested medicines due to links to cancer in January.

However, Michaels' advocacy faces opposition from four of the biggest lobbies in the country: Big Ag, Big Food, Big Pharma, and Big Health Insurance. Despite these challenges, Michaels remains committed to her vision for a healthier America.
