Google selects Daiser for its AI accelerator initiative
In a significant leap forward for AI-native digital health solutions, Daiser, a UK-US collaboration between Professor Mike Trenell and tech innovator Adam Wootton, has been chosen to join Google's Growth Academy: AI for Health startup accelerator programme.
This three-month accelerator programme, designed for the most promising health tech startups, is a game-changer for the industry. It offers essential growth support such as workshops, mentoring, and networking, aiming to help startups scale, acquire new customers and partnerships, innovate responsibly with AI, and expand into new markets.
The programme, which begins in May, will take place in Poland and includes a cohort of 25 standout startups from various regions. Daiser, with its people-centric approach to AI in healthcare, is one of three UK startups in this prestigious group.
Daiser's digital toolkit enables personalized, scalable solutions through its flexible 'Lego brick' system. This means that healthcare providers and researchers can use Daiser's platform to build exactly what users need, affordably and at scale.
Noam Feinstein, Senior Startup Partner Manager and Campus Lead at Google for Startups, expressed excitement about Daiser joining the Growth Academy: AI for Health. He stated, "We're thrilled to have Daiser on board. Their innovative approach to AI in healthcare is exactly what we're looking for in our startups."
Professor Mike Trenell, co-founder of Daiser, views the programme as a launchpad for Daiser to help redefine healthcare in the age of AI. He stated, "Being chosen by Google is recognition of the transformational potential they see in Daiser. We're excited to be part of this programme and to learn from the global experts, peer innovators, and mentors it offers."
The Growth Academy: AI for Health programme includes sessions focused on AI best practices, product design, leadership, responsible innovation, and customer growth. It also offers ongoing technical support from Google's expert teams, even after the programme ends.
Daiser is partnering with some of the UK's most respected institutions, including the South Yorkshire Digital Health Hub (SYDHH) and the EPSRC's EdgeAI Hub. This partnership will further strengthen Daiser's position in the digital health sector.
Google is supporting Daiser's mission and connecting them with other visionary companies in the health tech industry. This partnership is a significant step towards bringing cutting-edge AI into real-world care and redefining healthcare in the digital age.
