Gera Launches Parent Survey for Breastfeeding Week
Our organization is currently conducting a survey monkey in Gera, timed with World Breastfeeding Week, which falls in the 40th calendar week in Germany. The survey monkey, open until October 31, 2025, aims to enhance breastfeeding services, eliminate barriers, and bolster infant and maternal health.
World Breastfeeding Week is an annual event celebrated in over 120 countries. This year's theme is 'You decide. Not advertising.', encouraging parents to make informed decisions about their children's health. The survey monkey seeks to understand the needs and challenges of parents in Gera, with the goal of improving local breastfeeding support.
Unfortunately, our search did not yield information about which German cities applied for certification as 'Breastfeeding-Friendly Municipality' in 2022. We encourage Gera residents to participate in the survey monkey to help shape future initiatives.
