The upcoming June issue will mark the final print publication, and digital subscriptions will also cease at this time. Subscribers will be refunded for their remaining subscription term, with specific details provided below.
Transitioning to a digital-only model, Cosmos will continue to provide engaging science content through its online news service on the existing website. Later in the year, the online presence will migrate to a new digital destination managed by CSIRO Publishing. This consolidated platform will offer a wide range of resources, including peer-reviewed journals, e-books, and fact-based science news, all geared towards creating a sustainable future for science education and communication.
A dedicated news team will be employed to continue delivering stories on the latest scientific discoveries and exclusive interviews with esteemed scientists, ensuring ongoing engagement and high-quality content.

Subscription refunds will be processed based on purchase method:- Subscriptions directly purchased from CSIRO Publishing and paid by credit card will be credited accordingly.- Subscriptions purchased through the Royal Institution of Australia prior to June 2024 should contact [email protected] or call 1300 788000 to arrange a refund.- Refunds for subscriptions purchased via agents will be handled according to their standard processes.- School or library subscribers purchasing via EFT or invoice will be contacted to organize their refund.
