Community Participants at Dementia Social Gathering

The Caritas Association Rhein-Kreis Neuss is expanding its efforts to support the community, offering volunteer opportunities for dementia cafés and newsletter subscriptions.

For those interested in staying informed about social developments, culinary arts, art, and culture in Neuss, subscribing to the Caritas newsletter is the perfect solution. The newsletter provides in-depth information on these topics, keeping subscribers updated on the latest happenings in the city.

However, the Caritas Association is not just limited to newsletter subscriptions. They are also seeking volunteers for "Café Kränzchen" at Montanusstraße 42 in Grevenbroich city center.

In addition, the Caritas Association is looking for new volunteers for "Clemenscafé" due to current volunteers leaving at the end of the year. This café provides a safe and welcoming space for people living with dementia and their families to meet, socialize, and find support.

The new location for "Clemenscafé" is every Thursday from 2 to 5 pm at the St. Clemens Senior Center, Friedrichstraße 29. This bright and spacious room offers a comfortable environment for activities such as coffee, physical exercise, playing, singing, and storytelling.

Volunteers may help with organizing events, welcoming guests, assisting during café sessions, or simply offering companionship and conversation. This is a meaningful way to contribute to the community and support those affected by dementia.

If you are interested in volunteering or subscribing to the newsletter, you can contact Cordula Bohle at 02181-238382 for more information. The newsletter is not considered spam, and subscribers can find more information about the newsletter's privacy policy.

To confirm your newsletter subscription, please check your inbox or spam folder. Training and accompaniment by Caritas will be provided for new volunteers.
