Commemorative monument for infant Rosalie in Ingolstadt: tragedy at 11 months

On July 25th at 6 PM, a memorial run called "Rosalie fights - Dad runs" will take place in Ingolstadt, Germany. This charity event has been initiated by Rosalie's father, who was diagnosed with leukemia at six weeks old, and is aimed at supporting the nursing staff at a children's clinic.

Tragically, Rosalie passed away at the age of eleven months at the end of June. The memorial run is a heartfelt tribute to her life and the impact she had on those around her.

The run will start and finish at Café Tagtraum in Ingolstadt. Participants can choose to run either 11 kilometers or a half marathon (21.1 kilometers). To ensure everyone can run together, the organizers recommend maintaining a pace of 6:30 minutes per kilometer.

Throughout the run, participants will be accompanied by a bike escort and musical support from the Tagtraum team, with musical entertainment provided at the end of the event. Runners can leave their changing clothes at Café Tagtraum.

One Euro will be donated for every kilometer run during the event. Registration for the event is requested and can be done through the provided website. Donations can also be made through the same website.

The event will begin with a welcome and remembrance of Rosalie, followed by the run through and around the Ingolstadt old town. After the run, runners can spend the evening together, celebrating Rosalie's life and the difference they have made by participating in the memorial run.

For more precise details about this memorial run, such as the exact route and specific donation instructions, we recommend checking local event listings in Ingolstadt, community social media pages, or contacting local sports clubs or event organizers directly.

Science and health-and-wellness are crucial aspects of the memorial run, as the event aims to raise funds for mental health support at a children's clinic, following Rosalie's tragic passing at eleven months. This mental health focus stems from recognizing the emotional well-being of nurses who attended to Rosalie and children like her.
