Norbert Hußmann's Remarkable Contributions to Düsseldorf and the Children's Hospice Regenbogenland

Norbert Hußmann, a prominent figure in Düsseldorf, has made significant strides in various areas throughout his career. In 2015, he took over the chairmanship of the MIT of the CDU district association in Düsseldorf, but his journey in leadership began much earlier.

Since 2007, Hußmann has been the chairman of the district board of the Mittelstands- und Wirtschaftsvereinigung (MIT) CDU Bergisches Land. His leadership roles in the MIT CDU have been an integral part of his career, in addition to his work for the children's hospice Regenbogenland.

In 2008, the children's hospice Regenbogenland faced a critical phase, with its existence threatened. At this crucial juncture, Hußmann stepped forward, taking on the honorary chairmanship of the hospice. His tireless efforts and dedication have since been instrumental in its success.

Norbert Hußmann founded a foundation in 2012 to secure the work of the children's hospice Regenbogenland. Year after year, he successfully secures high donations for the hospice, ensuring its continued operation and expansion. In 2014, he pioneered the expansion of the hospice, contributing to its growth and capacity to help more children in need.

The children's hospice Regenbogenland building was completed in 2017, largely due to Hußmann's efforts. His work for the hospice has been recognised and rewarded with various honours throughout his career, including the Federal Cross of Merit, which he received in 1998.

Beyond his work for the children's hospice Regenbogenland, Hußmann has been particularly active throughout the city in support of its causes. His contributions to Düsseldorf extend beyond his role as the chairman of the MIT CDU in both Bergisches Land and Düsseldorf, which he has held since 2007.

While Hußmann's work for the children's hospice Regenbogenland is well-documented, further information about his contributions to Düsseldorf and his political roles can be found in local sources or official websites related to Düsseldorf or the Regenbogenland hospice.
