Tin Roof-Inspired Milkshake Recipe
Ingredients:- 1 cup vanilla ice cream (use a high-quality, creamy ice cream)- 1/4 cup whole Spanish peanuts (chopped)- 2 tablespoons hot fudge sauce (you can make your own or use store-bought)- 1/2 cup milk (or to taste for thickness)- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)- Whipped cream and additional peanuts for topping (optional)
Instructions:1. Prepare your ingredients: - If using whole Spanish peanuts, chop them into smaller pieces to distribute evenly throughout the milkshake. - Ensure your hot fudge sauce is at room temperature for smooth blending.
- Blend the milkshake:
- Place the ice cream, chopped peanuts, and hot fudge sauce into a blender.
- Add milk and vanilla extract (if using) to the blender.
- Blend on medium to high speed until the mixture is smooth and creamy, stopping to scrape down the sides of the blender if needed.
- Taste and adjust:
- If the milkshake is too thick, add a bit more milk. If it's too thin, add a bit more ice cream.
- Adjust the sweetness or flavor to your liking.
- Serve:
- Pour into a glass and top with whipped cream and additional chopped peanuts if desired.
- Enjoy:
- Serve immediately while the whipped cream is fresh and the ice cream is cold.
