Jussi Adler-Olsen: Author Battles Bone Marrow Cancer
Jussi Adler-Olsen, the renowned Danish author known for his bestselling crime series about the Department Q, turned 75 on August 2nd, 2023. However, the past few years have seen the celebrated writer grapple with health challenges.
In early 2024, Adler-Olsen was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer. This diagnosis came after two previous serious illnesses: colon cancer in 2000 and prostate cancer in 2009. Despite these obstacles, Adler-Olsen has shown an incredible resilience, surviving each illness and continuing his writing.
