In the ongoing series of the Innsbrucker Gender Lectures, which have been taking place since 2009, a significant event titled "The Fascistization of the Present. Time Diagnoses from Gender Studies." is set to take place. This lecture, yet to be explicitly named or attributed to a specific speaker in the provided search results, will be moderated by Dr. Marion Näser-Lather from the Institute for History and Empirical Cultural Studies.

The speaker for this intriguing discussion is none other than Dr. Simon Strick, a renowned media and gender researcher, author, and co-founder of the Berlin theater collective Panzerkreuzer Rotkäppchen (PKRK). Dr. Strick completed his PhD in 2014 with the thesis "American Dolorologies: Pain Biopolitics Sentimentalism."

In 2021, Dr. Strick published his acclaimed book "Rechte Gefühle: Affekte und Strategien des digitalen Faschismus" by Transcript Verlag, which focuses on digital cultures, fascistization processes, and their interrelations. He is currently continuing his research in this field as part of the research project "Digital Blackface" at the Institute for Arts and Media Potsdam.

Mareike Gebhardt from the Center for Interdisciplinary Gender Studies Innsbruck is also associated with the Innsbrucker Gender Lectures. Most of these lectures have been recorded, and the recorded sessions can be listened to in the archive.

We eagerly await the insights that Dr. Strick will bring to this important discussion on the fascistization of the present, as seen through the lens of gender studies.
