Actor Tammin Sursok from the soap opera 'Home and Away' opens up about a health issue

Australian actress Tammin Sursok, famous for her role on Home and Away, recently endured a distressing health episode due to an allergic reaction to an ant bite.

At 41 years old, Sursok Bewildered her fans by sharing a video on Saturday showcasing her swollen ankle after stepping on a fire ant nest and getting bitten seven times. The painful bites triggered a severe response, as large and blistered bumps developed on her ankle.

In a series of social media posts, she detailed the incident, stating, "In another episode of Tammin is allergic to bugs and insects, the ant bite situation has been gnarly... I stepped on an ant nest. Got bitten by seven." Recounting the aftermath, Sursok said, "I ran into my house and yelled at everyone, 'Don't be worried. I'm taking off all my clothes.'"

To further engage her followers, she posed a poll asking if they wanted to see a picture of her ant bite reaction. Sharing the post, Sursok noted, "Fire ants are no joke! Swelling has gone down, thank goodness! They are all the way around [her ankle]."
